There will be a time…

there will be a time
when the world no longer maims us
no I mean they who after picking our pockets
knock us down and kick us in the head
that’s why so many of us go along lame
you on one aluminium crutch and one stick picked up
from some waste place walking along in hunger and want
pain and deprivation warping your limbs
if all men were one man he would be you
dragging yourself along you pull us all forward
